Customized Evaluation and Design Solutions on Your Terms
Maybe your team is quietly frustrated by clunky logistics and unclear objectives.
Maybe your Board is looking for data on outcomes that you don’t actually have.
Maybe you’re spinning your wheels, making surface tweaks (like swapping out activities or adjusting timing), without ever fixing the deeper misalignment that keeps your programs from reaching their full potential.
Does your “signature” program feel more like a patchwork quilt than a powerhouse program?
Picture your programs at their full potential.
Imagine museum education programs that rise above the routine and inspire confidence in funders, deliver visitor-centered results, and position your museum as a community leader … all without staff burnout.
The ripple effect of a comprehensive program evaluation and design includes:
✅ Energized staff who are supported by clear, realistic program structures.
✅ Inspired audiences who walk away engaged, connected, and eager to return.
✅ Confident Boards and bosses who see measurable impact supported by data.
✅ Mission-aligned programs that match your goals and your real-world resources.
✅ Research-grounded results that give your team clarity, credibility, and confidence in what’s working.
When education programs are systematically evaluated and redesigned with data, the results aren’t just vibes— they’re visible and measurable.
In 2021, I took one of my museum’s long-running field trip programs through a full evaluation cycle for the first time: gathering both qualitative and quantitative data, critically examining the themes and activities, and analyzing what was falling short and what was worth keeping. Using those insights, I redesigned the program with a creative direction that was both mission-aligned and audience-responsive.
👉 The result? A new program that met our mission, resonated more deeply with our community, won an Award of Excellence, and generated a 7,000% increase in revenue.
💡 So if you’re wondering, “Can Rachel really do this?, the answer is yes.
I’ve done it before, and now, as I complete my PhD in Educational Leadership and Policy with a research focus on children’s engagement in museums, I bring both proven museum experience and cutting-edge scholarship to every project.
Put my signature evaluation system to work for you … and move beyond the guesswork.
This isn’t a cookie-cutter audit. This is a research-driven, fully customized partnership that ensures your programs are measurable and mission-aligned, functional and funder-friendly. With both lived museum experience and doctoral-level scholarship behind the system, this is the only service designed to give small and mid-sized museums the clarity, credibility, and confidence usually reserved for larger institutions.
Maybe you’re thinking “We can’t afford this.” Or maybe, “We don’t have time for this.”

FAQs
It’s time to stop staring at those half-finished drafts, wondering when you’ll actually get around to them.
You’re not alone. Every museum educator I know has a desk piled with “someday” projects and open tabs that never seem to close.
The good news? That’s exactly what Museum-Ready Materials is here to fix.
-
A block is one complete, ready-to-use resource—like a scavenger hunt for one age group, a single lesson in a teacher guide, or a gallery activity card. Each block stands on its own and fits seamlessly into a bigger project over time.
-
That’s the point! You don’t need polished drafts to start. I work from whatever you have—post-it notes, outdated handouts, or even just a big idea in your head—and turn it into something professional, purposeful, and polished. No judgment, just progress.
-
Absolutely not. That’s the beauty of the modular design. Start with one block and add on as your budget and timeline allow. Most projects grow piece by piece—no giant price tag, no overwhelming process.
-
Your first block is $375. Each additional block in the same project is $200. Most museums build out 3–10 blocks in one project. This structure keeps the entry point accessible while letting you scale up at your own pace.
-
The exact timing is dependent on several factors, but in general, we try to get a completed prototype to you for testing in less than 6 weeks (most are ready in under a month)! You get unlimited revision for a full month, and after that, you will have access to me for 6 months for up to 2 more revisions.
-
Projects are a series of related blocks — such as multiple scavenger hunts for the same exhibit or multiple lessons in the same Teacher Guide. You do not have to commit to all your blocks at once. You can add blocks to a project for up to 12 months.
-
You’ll see drafts early, and revisions are unlimited for a full month after delivery. Plus, you get a 6-month “Try It and Tweak It” guarantee, with up to 2 more revisions. So if something doesn’t click with your real audience, we’ll fix it. Additionally, you will have access to the editable Canva document so that you can make any small tweaks now or in the future!
-
Great! We can combine Museum-Ready Materials with other services—like audits or professional development workshops—for a full-suite upgrade. I’ll help you design the package that makes the most sense for your goals.
-
That’s completely normal—and honestly, it’s why this offer exists. You don’t have to walk in with a perfect plan. I’ll guide you through a simple intake process and help prioritize what matters most. Think of it as clearing the clutter: we’ll take what you already have (even half-finished drafts or scribbles) and turn it into a clear, doable plan that builds momentum instead of guilt.
