Imagine…

It’s been one of those days.

The 9:00 am school bus pulled in at 9:30 and then every one of those 3rd graders had to use the potty before you could start their program. Then, in the middle of the last group, you run out of glue and you have to draw googly-eyes on the last twenty crafts with the Sharpie you happen to have in your back pocket. (Side note: Why is that there? ) After you throw down some lunch, you turn on your computer for the first time all day. (Wait, how is it already 1:00 pm?) Before the little password box comes into view, your phone rings. It’s the chair of your Board’s Education Committee. (Hello, why yes, I do have a 3-year plan for increasing our educational reach into the community and I’m happy to present it at the next committee meeting.) And now, you’re logging on to find an inbox full of messages from homeschool moms asking about your next event, and oh no… is tomorrow Thursday? Your intern is coming in to sign paperwork before beginning next Monday. Where IS that onboarding paperwork???
