I’m Rachel, a public history museum educator turned PhD student, studying Educational Leadership & Policy.
Since 2003, I’ve been volunteering, educating, and leading in the museum space, but in early 2023, I just couldn’t keep watching my fellow museum educators throw in the towel on museum education.
So I dusted off my backpack and went back to school, refocusing my career on developing support for museum educators who are overwhelmed, burnt out, or just want more from their career.
I passionately believe that museum education can change the world.
But this is not easy work. I know because I’ve been there.
But I also know it can be easier.
Now I spend my time creating practical and professional development resources for overwhelmed museum educators like you. I can help you confidently accomplish all the aspects of your job, efficiently and with more joy, so that you can negotiate for more resources and create a bigger impact in your community without burning out.
